Runners up in the fourth series of Britian’s Got Talent - Twist and Pulse - took their special blend of comedy/street dance to Razzamataz Theatre School recently.
The London based street dance duo Ashley Glazebrook (aka Twist) and Glen Murphy (aka Pulse) have pioneered a new genre of dance called Streetomedy which combines dance and comedy.
Since their success in Britain’s Got talent they have danced all over the world including at London 2012 Olympic Games.
The Razzmataz students, which included some from the Bearsden classes, thoroughly enjoyed the high energy workshop with Twist and Pulse which catered for beginners and more advanced dancers so that everyone could join in.
They taught the youngsters some controlled sharp movements, contrasting from slow to fast speeds.
A spokesperson for Razzamataz, said: “Meeting top industry professionals is a huge part of the Razzamataz curriculum, providing inspiration and fun for the students while giving them a valuable insight into the exhilarating and hard working world of performing arts.
“That’s why we organise specialist workshops to travel to the schools throughout the UK to give students a chance to meet top performers and artists no matter where they live.”
