The President of Allander Rotary Club for Milngavie, Douglas Jackson, and Allander Rotarians attended the opening of the newly planted wildflower/bee garden at Mugdock Country Park recently.

Allander Rotarians raised money to support the development of this new natural feature in the park which it is hoped will attract a number of visitors as well as insects including bees.

The Allander Rotary Club has a well established link with Mugdock Park which includes a wishing well where contributions are used to support Rotary charities.

Allander Rotary is looking for new members and caters for all ages. The club is very keen to help set up Rotoract (for 18 to 30 year olds) and Interact (for 13 to 17 year olds) in the area. If you are interested contact president@allander-rotary.org
