THIS is your last chance to buy tickets for events at Milngavie’s Book and Arts Festival which starts on Tuesday, September 4.
Tickets are selling out fast, especially for some of the old favourites, such as the tapas night on Friday, September 7 in Milngavie Bookshop with Scotland’s best-selling travel writer.
Also the famous fish, chip, champagne and crime night with Len Murray, Sophie Hannah and Caro Ramsay in Cairns Church on the last night of the Festival - Saturday, September 8.
Festival organiser, Susan Frize, owner of Milngavie Bookshop, said: “There are still a few tickets left for both these events but you’ll need to book fast as they will all be gone soon.
“It’s all been going very well so far and everything is coming together quite well.
“All we need now is good weather, especially on the last day when some of the attractions such as the children’s fair rides and duck race, will be held outside.
“I’m really looking forward to it - we have an excellent line-up of authors and artists.”
Comedian Fred McAuley will open the Festival on Tuesday, September 4 at The Lillie Art Gallery at 6.30pm.
