Killearn Primary triumphs on the lacrosse pitch

Killearn Primary School has Scotland’s highest ranked Lacrosse team in twenty years.

The seven strong primary school team were runners up in the Plate Play Off at the British National Pop Lacrosse Championships held in Hatfield, London on Sunday, June 16.

An excellent team performance meant they finished in 10th position overall – the highest ranking position for a team from Scotland since 1993.

Twenty teams competed in the finals with Killearn invited as Scottish Champions.

One team was representing Wales and all remaining teams represented England.

Killearn battled through the toughest qualifying group against the eventual championship winners and runner’s up to qualify for the play off competition.
