Bearsden-based company, Home Instead Senior Care, which specialises in caring for older people in their own homes, is celebrating after achieving a national award for best care practice.
The organisation was proud to be represented by six finalists at this year’s prestigious Great British Care Awards (GBCA) held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The national awards are the culmination of the search to find the very best people in home care and celebrate excellence across the social care sector, paying tribute to individuals who have made a real difference to people.
Home Instead’s Mark Bushell was the eventual national winner of the coveted Home Care Co-Ordinator award which is presented to an individual who can show the judges their good communication and organisational skills.
Home Instead’s remaining finalists were represented across different award categories, demonstrating their all-round caring skills including, ‘Care Newcomer’, ‘Putting People First’, ‘Frontline Leader and ‘Dignity in Care’.
