Amateur Dramatic company - the Kilmardinny Players - have been hard at work rehearsing for their first pantomime Cinderella recently.
The performances at Kilmardinny House Arts Centre in Bearsden will run from Wednesday, November 27 to Saturday, November 30 at 7.30pm.
The group is also performing a matinée on Saturday, November 30 starting at 2pm for younger members of the audience.
Robert Tennant said: “Rehearsing has been hard work but a lot of fun. Backstage has also had a lot of challenges with costumes, scenery, sound and lights and props all essential in pantomime. The cast have also enjoyed rehearsing the songs that add to the entertainment and make for a fun pantomime.
“We now need good audiences to make our panto come alive and we hope that local groups who perhaps are used to going into town to see the professional players will come along to see us - it would be nice if they would support their local non-professional group.
“We already have a number of bookings and thank those in the community who are already giving us their support - the rehearsals are almost over we now need our audiences to make it all worthwhile.”
Tickets can be ordered on line at www.kilmardinnyplayers.org or purchased at the Lillie Art Gallery or by calling 0781 332 6318.
