Did you know that The Mugdock Country Park Visitor Centre is home to hundreds of roosting bats?

The Ranger Service and the Bat Conservation Trust need help from people on Monday, July 27 from 9pm to 10.30pm to count the bats as they fly out of their roost to feed as night falls.

Make sure to wrap up warm and take midge repellent.

Donations welcome for the Bat Conservation Trust. Pipistrelles are the most common bat in Scotland and they are very small, weighing the equivalent of a two pence piece.
