Have your say about the future use of land in the area

You can find out more about a vital document which will guide the future use of land in East Dunbartonshire by going along to drop-in sessions.

The sessions on the Proposed Local Development Plan (LDP) - which sets out a land use strategy for the area - including policies and sites for development which will be used to determine planning applications.

You have until May 27 to submit your comments either electronically or on paper. Forms are available on the LDP web page, at drop-in surgeries and libraries.

The next session is on Monday, May 11, in Bearsden Burgh Hall, from 3pm to 8pm.

Visit www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk/ldp for a copy of the report. The document is also available at community hubs, libraries and council buildings or phone the council on 0300 123 4510.

The website - www.eastdunbarton.gov.uk/ldp - includes a ‘how-to’ guide explaining the proposed plan, the planning process and how to comment. E-mail ldp@eastdunbarton.gov.uk.
