A SURVEY by the council into the use of the three public halls in Bearsden and Milngavie has shown only 16 complaints over the past two years.
Westerton Village Hall received the most - but they were all minor and resolved quickly. They range from ants in the kitchen to complaints about bar staff and a DJ switching music off because a concert over-ran its allotted time.
Milngavie and Bearsden public halls attracted five complaints each. In Milngavie concerns were raised over faulty microphones, ovens not working, set up of the hall and an issue about a bar not being arranged.
Grace Irvine, head of assets and property services, commented:“Westerton Hall is a well used facility, which is popular with groups. We do not receive many complaints.”
