Shocked shoppers saw cops detain four youths - all of whom were later released without charge.

Onlooker Laura Stirling (31) said: “It was mayhem, I didn’t know what was going on, I was glad to get out of there.”

A Strathclyde Police spokeswoman said: “We received a report that a male was seen in possession of a firearm. Officers detained four people in the vicinity of the Tesco car park. No fire arms were recovered.”
