Bearsden based firm, Golden Charter Ltd, was awarded a prestigious accolade at the Glasgow Business Awards last week.
They walked away with the Bank of Scotland Award for Most Outstanding Business last Thursday (October 2) .
The later life planning experts were also awarded the title of Best Performing Business with more than 51 employees, which is sponsored by Glasgow School for Business and Society at Glasgow Caledonian University.
Michael Corish, Managing Director at Golden Charter (Business), was delighted to accept the award and said: “We have had yet another exceptional year having now been involved in around half of all the new pre-paid funeral arrangements in the UK.
“As the UK’s largest funeral planning company, it’s fantastic that we are being recognised in the city where we were first founded 24 years ago.”
Golden Charter Ltd were recognised for their achievements amongst 15 other winners at the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce’s black tie event, sponsored by Bank of Scotland.
Hosted by Scottish comedian Fred MacAulay, the ceremony took place in the Hilton Glasgow, where over 700 guests enjoyed a three-course meal and champagne reception.
