It’s gold for East Dunbartonshire Community Health Partnership (CHP) as they become the first in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde area to achieve a Healthy Working Lives award at the top level.
For the accolade, the CHP had to develop an action plan and health strategy which will run over the next three years.
East Dunbartonshire CHP director Karen Murray said: “I am delighted that we are the first CHP to lift the top award! This has been a tremendous achievement, following hard on the heels of our bronze and silver awards in 2008 and 2010 respectively.
“I would like to commend everyone involved for their time, effort, commitment and ideas. Reaching gold reflects the quality of the work carried out by staff, and I’m confident that our plans for the next three years will be equally successful.”
