Glasgow Phoenix Choir is to per form at Bishopton Parish Church in aid of Haig House at Erskine.
The choir, which features members from Milngavie and Bearsden, rose out of the ashes of the world famous Glasgow Orpheus Choir and this year celebrates 112 years of choral excellence – 62 years as the Glasgow Phoenix Choir and 50 years as the Glasgow Orpheus Choir.
It has been conducted by Marilyn J Smith MBE since 1991 and continues to flourish.
The choir performs over 30 concerts per year, taking its special blend of choral music on tour twice a year, both in the UK and in Europe.
The Bishopton event takes place on Sunday, October 6 at Bishopton Parish Church, Ferry Road, at 2.30pm.
