Give hope to sick kids in the true spirit of Christmas

Local charity Cure Crohn’s Colitis (C3) is appealing for businesses and individuals to take part in the UK’s first Giving Tuesday on December 2 and help raise cash for sufferers.

The campaign part of a global day of charitable giving and support, encourages people to do at least one thing for a good cause, following the consumer hype of Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

In the true spirit of Christmas, C3 want people to donate to the charity as a special gift in the run-up to the festive season.

The charity gives 100 per cent of its funds towards medical research. Scotland has one of the highest incidences of the disease in the world, with one child a week being diagnosed at Yorkhill Hospital.

You can give a one-off donation or set up a regular donation on the charity’s website site at http://www.curecrohnscolitis.org/donate/caf-donation/
