Have your say

Milngavie Town Centre BID Limited has launched a Christmas art competition to find a budding artist to perform the official switch-on of the Christmas lights in Milngavie with Santa on Saturday, November 21.

To be the lucky person who will be lighting up the town, all you need to do is send them your painting or drawing based on a Christmas theme. It is only open to under 12-year-olds.

All pictures must be submitted by November 10 and will be featured across window displays in Milngavie Town Centre.

The Chairman of Milngavie Business Improvement District Neil Cunningham will choose the winner. The artist who creates the most interesting image will be then invited to join Santa to help him with the big switch-on, as well as receiving a prize. Entries can be sent via post or dropped off to: Ruby Red, 12 Main Street, Milngavie. Please make sure your name, address and phone number is written on the back of your entry.
