VOLUNTEERING projects in East Dunbartonshire could benefit from a boost following an extension to the Central Scotland Forest Trust (CSFT) Community Volunteer Fund.
Now in its fourth year, the environmental charity’s £18,500 cash pot will provide essential support to organisations which aim to improve their local environment and increase volunteering opportunities in the Central Scotland Forest (CSF) area.
The CSFT Community Volunteer Fund is open to registered charities and not-for-profit organisations with experience in developing, delivering and sustaining volunteering programmes within the CSF boundary.
Organisations in East Dunbartonshire can apply for financial support of up to £6,500.
No match funding is required although projects must give details on how they will meet any shortfall if the project costs exceed the maximum grant available.
Organisations which meet the criteria should e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for an application pack.
All applications must be submitted by 5pm on Friday, December 7. The money will be allocated and successful projects will be informed by the end of January 2013.
