An ‘old crocks’ football match between Balfron Rovers and Milngavie Wanderers raised £1,900 for Macmillan Cancer Care. The game also marked Wanderers’ 50th anniversary. Post match, a dance was held in Ellangowan Masonic Lodge, who supported the day financially.

Jim Meggat (Balfron Rovers) said: “The lodge played a big part in the success of the day. A big thanks also to all those who worked behind the scenes.”
