May is Veterinary Nurse Awareness Month and to celebrate and promote the career, specialist vet nurse Lorri Jackson is hosting a talk on Sunday, May 17, at 12pm at the small animal hospital at the University of Glasgow Veterinary School on Bearsden Road.

So if you’ve always dreamt of becoming a vet nurse this is the perfect opportunity to find out how to do it.

Participants will also get a free tour of the main hub of the small animal hospital to see behind the scenes and find out what’s really involved in the job, as well as meet members of the team.

Lorri said: “This event has also been entered into the BVNA (British Veterinary Nursing Association) competition for the best event to promote a career in veterinary nursing.”
