Families had all the fun of the fayre

Castlehill Primary’s Summer Fayre on Saturday, May 30 was a huge success.

The weather, which had been awful all week, was good to them which meant they could hold all the outdoor activities. Allander Jazz Band performed for the visiting parents, children and friends who also browsed the homebaking, book, tombola, lucky dip and fairground game stalls while enjoying a delicious burger thanks to Castlehill Baptist Church and their barbecue skills. One of the most popular stalls of the day was balloon modelling which was done by P5 pupil Kyle Nielson. He did a fantastic job and kept calm even when faced with a long queue. The Fayre raised a fantastic £1300 which will be used to further enhance the children’s learning experiences in school.
