A convict who broke the conditions of his prison release may pose a risk to the public, say police.

George Trainer of Robroyston had his licence revoked for failing to comply with conditions imposed after his release from Addiewell Prison in West Lothian.

Police have asked for help in tracing 28-year-old Trainer, and have issued a photo of him.

He is white, 5ft 7in tall, of medium-to-stocky build, with short brown hair, dark eyes and has a Glaswegian accent.

Detective Sergeant Alan Cuthbert said: “We believe Mr Trainer may pose a risk to the public.

“Officers have been making significant enquiries to trace him, however, at this time there have been no positive sightings so far.”
