KIND-HEARTED staff from The Inn cafe/bar in Bearsden are doing their bit for Macmillan’s World’s Largest Coffee Morning.
They are going to be handing out cups of coffee to commuters at Bearsden train station this morning (Friday) in return for a donation.
Andy Young, general manager of The Inn on Station Road, said: “We run this event every year and it’s always well supported.
“We hope people will continue to give generously for this excellent cause.
“As well as handing out coffees at the station all our dining customers on Friday will receive a free coffee in return for a donation.”
The Inn also held a free wine tasting night last night (Thursday) which was hosted by Bibendum wines to raise money for the charity. They are also going to hold a charity comedy night on Thursday, October 20 which will be hosted by Gary Little. Tickets cost £5 and are available from The Inn in advance or on the night. For every ticket sold The Inn is going to donate £1 to Macmillan Cancer Support.
