The second ‘Makers Market’ is going to be held in Milngavie Town Hall on Saturday, April 16 from 10am to 3pm to allow local people to sell what they make.
The event was established by an American woman who now lives in Bearsden.
Artist Jessica Stafford Cameron, originally from northern California, was so impressed by all the talented people in Scotland, and more locally, that she decided to start a monthly market which would give them the chance to showcase and sell their work.
Jessica (32) said: “I’ve lived in different places in the world and I feel like Scotland’s really special - there are so many talented people and I thought they really need a place to sell their products.
“Milngavie was the obvious choice for me as I live locally and it’s easy for people to get there by train.”
