A gang of up to ten teenagers kicked and stamped on a 14-year-old boy during a brutal and cowardly attack at Milngavie train station.

The apparently random assault happened around 8pm on Saturday last week.

The victim suffered a black eye, cuts and bruises.

British Transport Police, who are hunting the culprits, say the attack was unprovoked.

The culprits, both male and female, were in their mid to late teens.
