Children in East Dunbartonshire are promised a great time this October holiday, with a host of Scottish-themed treats as part of Kidsfest.
There will be a number of creative workshops and fun family shows across the area from Monday October 13-17.
Activities include Minimovers with Highland Hip Hop at Kilmardinny Arts Centre - a fun dance class for younger ones to learn a cool highland and hip hop fusion dance; BRAW – An Awfy ‘Brave’ Adventure presented by The Walking Theatre Company in Milngavie with walks through a fun-packed adventure about the ancient celtic clans, and the opportunity to create your own Scottish movie in the Stop Start Scottish Stories Film School at Milngavie CE Centre. This activity invites youngsters to create their own wacky story inspired by something Scottish and bring it to life using stop motion animation.
Back by popular demand is Glasgow Print Studio at Kilmardinny Arts Centre. Youngsters will be able to try there hand at the art of screen printing in this colourful and messy session.
Trust Chairman Scott Hill said: “Once again there is a whole host of exciting activities going on in
