Creative Festival will be kids play

From robots to puppets, drawing to filming, there is something to keep every child amused during the school holidays thanks to KIDSFEST.

East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust has unveiled a sparkling programme of events for this year’s festival (Oct0ber 14-18).The programme includes:

nFriends Electric, presented by Visible Fictions at Cairns Church, Milngavie. A magical story about a spark of connection between a human and a robot.

nThe Pied Piper, presented by Sokobauno at Kilmardinny Arts Centre, Bearsden, featuring puppets, music and morals. nBody Puzzles, presented by Glasgow Print Studio at Kilmardinny Arts Centre. Create your own wild and wacky characters during this fun printmaking workshop.

East Dunbartonshire Leisure and Culture Trust chairman, Councillor Stewart MacDonald, said: “Once again there is a whole host of exciting activities going on.

“KIDSFEST is packed with extremely popular creative workshops and fun family shows, so book now to avoid disappointment.”
