CROWDS gathered in Milngavie precinct last Saturday for the official Christmas lights switch-on which was performed by popular STV weatherman Sean Batty
It was a fun-filled day out for all the family with a fairground, a DJ and food stalls, selling all sorts of festive fayre. School pupils also got the chance to take part in a great ‘spot the error’ competition by looking at posters in shop windows to find the glaring mistake.
The event was organised by Milngavie My Way/Business Improvement District (BID) which is chaired by Ian Lavrie, who is also the owner of Townhead Carpets in Milngavie and chairperson of Milngavie Traders Association.
