This year’s Christmas Tree Festival will once again be held in St. Paul’s Church, Milngavie and opens on Saturday, November 30 at 10am.

The official opening ceremony takes place at 11am when some members of the Milngavie Pipe Band will perform.

Organisers, the Association of Milngavie Churches, expect a wonderful array of trees decorated by many sections of the community.

A programme of music will run throughout the festival with contributions from a wide range of musicians.

A tearoom with delicious home baking will also be available.

Proceeds from the festival will be shared by Friendship Circle, M.S. Revive in Ruchill and Alzheimer Scotland and Help For Heroes.

The festival will run until Friday, December 6 from 10am - 4pm each day except Sunday when the times are 1pm – 4pm.

One highlight of the music programme is a return visit from the Allander Jazz Band and Jeannie Maxwell on Sunday, December 1 at 2pm.
