Christmas lights switch-on at Loch Lomond Shores

Loch Lomond Shores’ festive celebrations kick off on Sunday, November 17 with a spectacular Christmas lights switch-on.

A fantastic line-up of family entertainment has been organised for the thousands of visitors who are expected to watch the loch-side complex be lit up.

The day’s events will kick-off at 12 noon with the arrival of Santa on his magical Santa Express train. F

amilies can then enjoy live entertainment from the Your Radio team who’ll be on stage with a host of music acts including Scottish X Factor singing sensation Jade Richards.

There will also be a feast of food on offer with free cupcake decorating for children in the Mall, the farmers’ market and, for the first time, street food stalls including a hog roast and wood fired pizza. Revellers will also be treated to the tastiest fortune cookies complimentary of Cracking Cookies.

The day’s festivities will culminate with the switch-on of the Christmas lights, including the illumination of a new 30ft Christmas tree, by children from Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS) followed by a sensational fireworks display over the Loch.
