Chefs get together for mouth-watering fundraising night

FIVE top Scottish chefs are going to be giving a cookery demonstration in Milngavie Town Hall on Monday at 7pm to raise money for Breast Cancer 2000.

Gary Maclean, masterchef for Great Britain, will be there with Phil Lewis, head cook at The Cook School in Kilmarnock, and Brian Home, who is currently a chef at Cyan restaurant, Milngavie - he has years of experience including over four years at a Roux Brothers restaurant.

A couple of other big names are still to be confirmed for the event which has been organised in partnership with Cyan bar and restaurant in Stewart Street.

Cyan owner David Cowan said: “The chefs will be creating some really mouth-watering dishes. There will also be some fantastic giveaways and prizes in the charity auction. It’s sure to be a great night so make sure you don’t miss it - get your ticket soon.”
