CAB gets £71,488 lift from council

EAST Dunbartonshire’s Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) has been given a cash boost of £71,488.

At a recent policy and resources committee, councillors agreed to allocate the funding to allow the CAB to continue its work.

Council leader Rhondda Geekie said: “We all know what an excellent job the Citizens Advice Bureau does in providing advice and guidance to all members of the community, particularly those who may find themselves in some difficulty.

“This additional funding will ensure that CAB is able to continue to deliver their full range of services to those who need them.”
