Research shop in Milngavie had fun celebrating the 25th birthday of the branch on Tuesday, October 6.
Carolyn Shennan, the shop manager, and assistant manager Vicki Lockhart had a lunch in the Burnbrae pub and restaurant in Bearsden with volunteers.
Carolyn said: “I took this opportunity to share our achievements with our fabulous volunteers and to also let everyone know about the milestones we have reached.
“The Milngavie shop alone has raised over £3.52 million since it opened.
“This is a really great achievement.
“We also presented four of our volunteers with their 10 year badges and a bouquet of flowers to thank them for all their hard work and dedication to the charity over the years.
“A big thank you also to all our customers and donors and supporters who have made our little shop such a big success over the years.”
October is a very busy month for the Cancer Research charity as they run their campaign ‘Stand Up to Cancer’.
Carolyn added: “We really drive our fundraising abilities during October to make our £2000 pledge.
“We had a tabletop/craft fair in the Fraser centre on October 24 and many of the tables sold out.”
