The Allander Rotarians continue to be a major supporter of the popular Youth Cafe in Milngavie.
Local charities, including the cafe, will again benefit from the £1,600 the Rotarians raised from the duck race (despite the bad weather) and the sportsman’s dinner which will be held on February 26 next year.
Over £150 was raised for the Rotary International End Polio Now campaign from the sale of crocus pins which were available in many local shops.
The Clyde Coastal Path, which has been a major Rotary project over the past two years with support from both East and West Dunbartonshire councils, is nearly completed.
This provides a route from the Erskine Bridge to the West Highland way and links with paths on the Ayrshire coast which have been developed with the support of local Rotary Clubs.
