Three outstanding young musicians will bring masterpieces by Schubert, Beethoven and Dvorak to Milngavie Music Club’s next concert at Cairns Church, Milngavie on February 12.

The truly international group Trio Isimsiz (‘isimsiz’ means ‘nameless’ in Turkish!) are Spaniard Pablo Hernan Benedi (violin), Bulgarian cellist Michael Petrov and English-born pianist Erdem Misirlioglu.

Trio Isimsiz first met as students at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and since then have played in the great concert halls of the UK and Europe.

They won the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition 2015 – and also took the audience prize. The London-based ensemble received €15,000 and future concert engagements in Scandinavia and Europe.

The audience will be treated to Schubert’s beautiful Notturno in E flat by Schubert and there will be free refreshments at the interval. Tickets: £12 (full time students £5, children free) available from The Iron Chef, Milngavie or at the door on the night. Phone 0141 942 3102 or download a brochure from www.milngaviemusic.org
