A floral garden of remembrance created by Milngavie in Bloom is going to be dedicated and solemnised by the minister of Baldernock Parish Church, Rev Andrew Lees, on Monday, October 28 at 11am.

The garden, outside the Fraser Centre in Milngavie precinct, is in conjunction with the Milngavie and Bearsden branch of The Royal British Legion Scotland to enable members of the public to lay poppy crosses to remember family members and friends who lost their lives in the conflicts since World War One.

Poppy crosses will be available for £1 in Milngavie in the bookshop on Douglas Street, Iron Chef, Mugdock Road, Bluebell Wood, Station Road, and Creative Carol, South Mains Road.
