A DOG’s tale had a happy ending thanks to Marks and Spencer staff in Milngavie, when an injured stray dog wandered into the shop. The cross-breed terrier didn’t appear to have an owner and it was bleeding from a cut and shaking with fear.
Rhys Friel, sales assistant, said: “The poor wee thing seemed a bit scared so we decided to take care of it until the council dog warden came to collect it.
“We hoped it would be reunited with its owner so we are delighted to hear that happened.”
The dog was taken to Milton SSPCA where it was collected by the person who’d been looking after it for an elderly relative.
Theyhad been very worried and were pleased to get the dog back.
We’d be keen to talk to the owner for a follow up story - please contact reporter Laura Sturrock on 0141 9563533.
