See Alexander brother at Milngavie’s Cairns Church

GET into the festive mood by going along to a Christmas concert performed by Westerton Male Voice Choir at Cairns Church, Milngavie on Saturday, December 15 at 7.30pm.

They will be joined this year by a very special guest from Bearsden, Tom Alexander MBE, known to many around the world as one half of The Alexander Brothers.

He has performed around the world including Carnegie Hall in New York and The London Palladium, toured in America, Canada, New Zealand and Australia he appeared with Sir Jimmy Shand, Andy Stewart, Shirley Bassey and many more.

The choir’s repertoire will range from Handel and Rachmaninoff through traditional Christmas Carols, French traditional and modern pieces and an arrangement for male voices of last Christmas’s number one hit “Wherever You Are” by The Military Wives Choir. Tom Alexander’s contribution will be a secret until the night but will undoubtedly add a unique ingredient to a delightful mix.
