Elinor moved down to study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and while a student there, she won the Traves Trophy and a gold medal for a 30-minute recital on concert harp and clarsach in the Edinburgh Competition Festival.

She has now joined Clouds, a quartet of harp soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians founded in 2008.

Esther Swift is the composer and songwriter of their music, inspired by her folk roots and a deep love of Scotland and her home in the Borders.
