See the Woman in Black at the Theatre Royal

ONE of the most terrifying live theatre experience is coming to Glasgow's Theatre Royal in June — The Woman in Black.

Unanimously acclaimed by the critics, Stephen Mallatratt's adaptation of the haunting best-selling novel by Susan Hill creeps onto the stage from Mon June 7 to Saturday, June 12.

And The Milngavie and Bearsden Herald has a pair of tickets to give away to see the show on Monday, June 7 at 7.30pm.

Obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over him and his family by the spectre of a 'Woman in Black', lawyer, Mr Kipps engages a sceptical young actor to help him tell his terrifying story and exorcise the fear that grips his soul. Delving into his darkest memories, they find themselves caught up in a world of eerie marshes and moaning winds.

The borders between make-believe and reality begin to blur, and the flesh begins to creep…

Gripping audiences for 21 years in the West End this spine chilling novel has been adapted to the stage combining the power and intensity of live theatre with a cinematic quality inspired by the world of film noir.

The Woman in Black captures the audience transporting them into an evening of unremitting tension, one that will tease and scare and leave you on the edge of your seats.

For your chance to win, make sure you get your copy of this week's Milngavie and Bearsden Herald, which is in shops now.
