See the Texas Tenors at the Theatre Royal

THE Texas Tenors, who first appeared on 'America's Got Talent', are coming to Glasgow's Theatre Royal this month.

This is part of their first ever UK tour after they were voted "2009's Vocal Group of the Year."

The incredible voices of these classically trained tenors, J.C, Marcus and John, perform the most romantic songs of the last century and bring their unique blend of, gospel, country, classical and broadway to the stage with breathtaking vocals, humour and a hint of cowboy charm.

The Milngavie and Bearsden Herald has a pair of tickets to give away to see this fantastic show on August 30 at 7.30pm.

J.C is the ever romantic Tenor with his interpretations of classic Neapolitan love songs; Marcus brings a contemporary feel to the group and John, who is simply . . . The Tenor!

Together they create harmonies as smooth as silk and a sound to satisfy the soul. From well loved arias, to show songs, from" Nessun Dorma" to "My Way", The Texas Tenors cover every genre of music.

These childhood friends have carved fantastic careers in their own right, as actors and classical soloists, and since 'America's Got Talent' they have combined to create the ultimate vocal sound.

The Tenors themselves couldn't be more different and yet their chemistry onstage and long time friendship shines through in every performance. John brings a wealth of experience from the world of classical music. Having performed in numerous operas to rave reviews, his deep speaking voice, bright blue eyes, and singing voice dubbed "the cannon", will simply take your breath away. When JC sings John Denver's "Thank God I'm A Country Boy", no truer words have been spoken.

For your chance to win, make sure you get your copy of this week's Milngavie and Bearsden Herald, which is in shops now.
