Schoolgirl Samantha takes on CBBC's Raven challenge

BALJAFFRAY schoolgirl Samantha Ross will be on our screens this month as Ranath in popular CBBC childrens game show, Raven.

Six children, or warriors as they are known on the show, must ensure their own survival as they face a series of tough tasks such as Demon Causeway, Warrior's Race and Pontoon Pursuit.

Only one can survive the challenges and be crowned the Ultimate Warrior.

Samantha (11), who has appeared in three pantomimes in Glasgow, fought off competition from over 1000 applicants to become one of 18 challengers for the new series of Raven.

Filming for series 10 of the show took place in Lagganlia, an outdoor education centre in Aviemore, where Samantha and five others competed for almost six weeks to determine who would become the winner.

During this time parents were not allowed to see the children as the results of the show had to remain a secret.

You can see Samantha from January 21 at 4pm until March 10.
