IDEOMS theatre company presents ‘Instant Burns - Just Add Haggis’ a show full of Burns’ words and music laced with a good helping of wit and audience participation at Mugdock Country Park on Friday, January 25 at 7.30pm.

It’s fresh, palatable, soul-enriching, satisfying and that’s just the haggis. It’s Burns – and no’ a lang-windit speech in sight.

IDEOMS presents an authentic delivery of the works of Robert Burns, and is well known for its highly acclaimed Burns experience.

John Nichol, Hilary Bell, Lucy Cowan and Ross Milligan add madcap miscellany to Robert Burns’ finest works, incorporating poetry, comedy and music. It’s a performance and a party!

The evening begins with a staged show followed by a traditional Burns supper. Together, the performers and audience will enjoy community songs, poetry and recitations (including Tam o Shanter) and, of course, the piping in and addressing of the haggis, and culminating with Auld Lang Syne.

Tickets cost £25 each (includes supper, entertainment and a dram), supper is haggis, neeps & tatties, and cheese and biscuits with coffee/tea. Please specify vegetarian preference when booking. For age 12 and over.

To book call the park on 0141 956 6100.
