AN exhibition and sale by local artists will once again take place at Mugdock Country Park and will include watercolours, pastels, acrylics and oil paintings featuring a variety of subjects including local scenes.
The works of art, by members of Allander Artists, will be on show in the visitor centre at the park from Saturday July 18 to Sunday July 26 with the event open from 11am to 5pm.

The popular annual exhibition showcases the best of what the group does. They are affectionately known as the Allander "girls" and are (left to right) Jeanne Boocock, Leslie MacAnespie, Sara James Windebank, Iris Murray, Vie Duncan and Anne Reid.

The women meet regularly at Kilmardinny House Arts Centre in Bearsden to paint and exchange ideas.

This will be the seventh annual exhibition and a number of the artists will be there to welcome visitors.

It will also be an opportunity to purchase the Bearsden and Milngavie 2010 Artists' Calendar.
