New album release by Drymen musician
Dave Arcari comes to the Green Hotel, Kinross on September 13.
MUSICIAN Dave Arcari is set to release his new album ‘Whisky in my Blood’ next month.
The Alt.blues performer from near Drymen will be releasing his new collection of songs on Finnish label Blue North Records under licence from Buzz on Monday 25 March.
Recorded in Finland, mixed in Glasgow and Helsinki and put together in Chicago, the album features a Finnish rhythm section tagged as the Hellsinki Hellraisers.
There is a 30-second video trailer for the album and a free digital download will be available for review purposes ahead of the release.
The Scottish slide guitarist and songwriter cites his influences owe as much to trash country, punk and rockabilly as they do pre-war Delta blues.
Arcari’s trademark slide guitar is a versatile instrument in the musician’s hands, and he has the ability to turn his hand to a range of styles. His influences in large part come from the areas he has visited around the world.
