Mugdock Country Park is beautiful all year round - but in the festive season it becomes enchanting and the perfect place to stir the Christmas spirit.

So if you want to get into the festive mood or walk off all the seasonal turkey, the good news is that Mugdock Country Park only closes its facilities fully on Christmas day, leaving you the rest of the holidays to enjoy.

On Christmas Eve, all traders and services open until 5pm, with Charlie’s open until 7.45pm.

It is closed on Christmas day buy outlying car parks will remain open

From December 26 - 31, most traders and all park services will be open until 5pm and on New Year’s Day, Stables Tearoom, visitor car park and public toilets will be open from 11am until 4pm.

Normal services will resume from January 2.
