KIDS are going to get the chance to trek to the North Pole to rescue Christmas if they go along to a special drama class in Milngavie on Tuesday, December 18.

Lisa Armstrong (40), a Milngavie mum of two, has organised the special Pyjama Drama session for three to five-year-olds at St Andrew’s hall, Stewart Street, Milngavie at 1.30pm to raise cash for Radio Clyde’s Cash for Kids.

Lisa said: “In this special session it’s Christmas Eve and there is an emergency - Father Christmas has had one too many mince pies, has crawled into bed and is refusing to get up! Joined by Rudolph and a poorly penguin the children will travel to the North Pole and save Christmas.

“Pyjama Drama includes everything that children find instinctive, namely pretending, playing and being active. Role-play and using their imagination is how, at this young age, they make sense of the world.

“They learn key social skills including confidence, co-operation and communication and they have loads of fun while they’re doing it.”

This is a free event but parents are asked to make a donation to Cash for Kids on the day.

Mince pies and refreshments will be offered after the session kindly donated by Little Dish. There will also be a fabulous prize up for grabs - a month’s supply of Little Dish meals. Booking is essential email lisa@pyjamadrama.com or phone 0141 530 2335 as spaces are limited.
