Allander Rotary Club round-up
ALLANDER Rotary Club held a very successful Burns Supper last Friday in conjunction with Hilton Park Golf Club.
President Iain White compered the evening with club members and guests entertained in traditional style.
The previous week, Rotarians heard a most interesting talk from Hugh Hodgart, Dean of Drama at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Hugh described how he had come into the world of theatre and shared some of his experiences in working with student actors who are now household names like Robert Carlyle, James McAvoy and Alan Cumming.
Looking forward, plans are well underway for the major fundraising event of the year - the Sportsman’s Dinner - which will be held on February 21 in Milngavie Town Hall.
