Abandoned dog to be rehomed

A DOG that was abandoned in the river Allander, Milngavie, and left to drown three weeks ago is expected to be re-homed this week.

The friendly tri-coloured collie dog was named ‘Bob’ by staff at the Scottish SPCA’s rescue centre in Milton after he was found by a walker in the water with a metal chain attached to his collar - which was trapped in rocks at the other end.
