A MILNGAVIE film maker who has worked on the Batman movies is looking for funding to make his first short film.

MILNGAVIE Heritage Group is holding its next meeting in the town’s community centre on Thursday March 1 at 2pm.

GLASGOW Islay Senior and Junior Gaelic Choirs’ annual concert will be held in Bearsden Burgh Hall, Drymen Road, Bearsden Cross, at 7.30pm on Friday, February 24.

S4 pupils at Bearsden Academy, Fiona Halliday and Ross Kennedy, made this heart and sold ‘petals’ with names of loved ones on them to raise cash so they can take part in the next World Challenge expedition to south America.
