PARTICK Thistle's impressive form of five games undefeated came to a sharp halt on Sunday at Palmerston Pack.
A penalty awarded in the 25th minute against Marc Twaddle after he was adjudged to have fouled Queen of the South's Paul Burns saw Stevie Tosh give the home side the lead.

Twaddle, however, attempted to make amends in the 32nd minute by sending a good cross to Steven Lennon whose shot just failed to hit the target.

But it just wasn't meant to be the Jags day and Ian McCall's men found themselves trailing by two by the 34 minute after Stephen Dobbie took advantage of an error by Ian Maxwell to find the net with a low shot into the corner.

Thistle did, however, come on the attack for most of the remainder of the game but Queens keeper Cameron Bell was well placed to make some fine saves.
