DAMON GRAY hit a 74th minute winner to give Partick Thistle a 1-0 win over Airdrie United at New Broomfield.
The on-loan Hibs striker made it two league wins out of two as Jags continued their impressive start to the season.

Thistle boss Ian McCall said he had been thinking about taking the striker off but was talked out of it by assistant Gerry Britton.

Both sides had earlier chances to break the deadlock but it was Gray who was a three point hero for Thistle when he blasted into the net.
